Samsung Galaxy A50 2019 Update – Are you aware that Samsung released an update for the Galaxy A50 2019 Update last week, supposedly to improve the performance of its in-display fingerprint sensor. However, the update also brought about an issue with the Smart View feature. Following the update, Smart View stopped working properly on the device.
Samsung Galaxy A50 Android Q Update:
The Samsung Galaxy A50 was launched with Android Pie (9.0) onboard and as we all know it belongs to a huge giant named Samsung, and Samsung has a good track record of updates, so we can expect Samsung to provide the latest Android Q Update, in later stages to the device. The Android Q Beta has not been provided to the device yet. We will inform you all when Samsung Releases the Android Q Beta or the Official Update.
Samsung’s Galaxy A50 is gaining a lot of traction lately and owners can now benefit from the latest OTA update that just arrived in India. It focuses on the camera, fingerprint reader and Bixby.
The new software version is A505FDDU1ASD6 and it’s 666MB big. It brings a couple of new camera features like narrow 68-degree field of view for the front-facing camera, more background effects for the Live Focus mode and beauty video mode for the front and back cameras.
More importantly, the firmware update addresses the under-display fingerprint scanner issues that some users are having. The new software should make unlocking faster and more reliable.
The update also adds Bixby Routine feature that’s available on higher tier Galaxy phones and lastly – call and message continuity. This means that you can answer calls and respond to texts from other compatible devices signed with your Samsung account.
The software bundles Google’s April security patch too and will roll-out in stages so it might take some time before it arrives in your country.
