This is to inform all the candidates that participated in the 2019 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) and years before, conducted by the Joint Admission and Matriculation Board (JAMB) that they can now print their original JAMB result slips online.The main JAMB result slip (with your photograph) is an official document you will likely need during your admission screening exercise and other admission matters.. For those without an account on JAMB’s website, you will have to create one. Account of candidates who sat for the 2019 UTME was created when during registration.
In this article, I will be showing you how you can do it yourself, but you will need to make a payment of N1,000 on JAMB portal to access and print the original result slip.
How to Print Original JAMB Result Slip.
- To print your JAMB result original slip, login to your JAMB profile through http://www.jamb.org.ng/eFacility/Login with your email address and password
- Under the list of services (on the left navigation bar), click on the “Print Result Slip“.
- Click “continue with payment”
- Select “pay with remita” as your payment method
- You will be taken to the remita payment gateway
- You can print out the RRR receipt and proceed to the bank to make your payment or you pay online
- After a successful payment, you can now proceed to printing your result slip by ‘selecting your exam year’ and entering your ‘JAMB registration Number’ in the required column
Note: Your JAMB result slip can be sent to your email or be printed directly from the portal.
Is the Original JAMB Result that important?
- Yes, The original JAMB UTME Result Slip is very important as it is usually required in the following cases;
- It is usually a required document to be submitted when you are going for Admission Screening in your institution of choice.
- Your school when admitted will ask for this document as a requirement (To verify your JAMB Score) for a successful registration.
- When you want to push for your admission into your school of choice either through supplementary or other admission lists.
- And other reasons
NOTE: the original Jamb Result Slip has your passport photograph embedded on it. If you have a result slip without your passport, it may be declined by your school of choice.
